The Office of Undergraduate Admissions has handpicked a variety of classes for prospective students to audit. These classes were chosen especially to mirror the types of courses you would be taking as an underclassman. Classes fall into one of six department categories: Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Humanities, Math, or Technology & the Arts. You're welcome to attend any of these sessions, regardless of your intended major. At Stevens, our students have a wide array of interests and talents - artists who do programming, engineers who study music, and business majors who excel in athletics. We encourage you to explore the many diverse options we offer. Please vist our Course Catalog for a brief course description of any of the classes you are interested in observing. Classes are intended for students only.
An Admissions Interview is required for students applying to our Accelerated programs. An admissions interview is strongly recommended for all other applicants to Stevens. You may find it best to schedule an interview while you are visiting campus. For students interested in applying to Stevens for the Fall 2014 term, interviews slots are available by appointment. They are conducted in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions on the 8th Floor of the Howe Center, or by phone or Skype. Please be mindful of the time zone listed on the Admissions Interview - phone or Skype interviews all take place in Eastern Standard Time, unless otherwise noted. Interviews for High School applicants wishing to enroll in the fall term must be completed by February 1. Admissions interviews will resume on March 1 and last until July 1 for students looking to apply as a transfer student for Fall 2014.
Visit Days are held throughout the year for general and specific prospective students and are published here on the Undergraduate Admissions website. Activities include tours, admissions and financial aid overviews, student presentations and other information sessions and showcases.
The Undergraduate Admissions Office is happy to accomodate group visits to our campus. We ask that you make your group visit request at least 3 weeks and up to 3 months out from the preferred date. A typical campus visit will include an Information Sesion, led by an Admissions Counselor, and a private campus tour. We can also customize your agenda, if you'd like to learn more about a specific program we offer here at Stevens. Group visits are intended for high schools and organizations looking to come to campus with over 15 people in their party.
