The Student Service Center (SSC) is committed to working with you and your family and is a great resource for questions related to financial aid, registration and ebilling. As you prepare for your arrival on campus this fall, become familiar with the services we offer. Online resources on the Financial Aid website are available to assist you with:
- Filing your 2014-2015 FAFSA.
- Your Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN).
- Your Direct Loan Entrance Interview.
- Your Perkins Master Promissory Note (MPN)
- Information for Alternative Loans
If you are eligible for a NJ Tuition Aid Grant (Tag), visit the State’s web site to check the status of your Tag, respond to any documentation requests from the state or apply for the NJ Class alternative loan.
Student Financial Services
View your billing statement online at the Student Financial Services page, at the ebilling page or through the ebilling icon on your myStevens account, using the myStevens credentials sent in your enrollment pack. In an effort to be eco-friendly, Stevens does not mail paper billing statements. E-mail notifications are sent to the student and the authorized payer students have granted access to their ebilling account. International students can use PeerTransfer for wire payments.
At the start of every Fall semester, all full-time students are charged health insurance. This fee can be waived if you already have insurance coverage with another provider. To file a waiver you must submit your policy information every Fall semester online at http://www.univhealthplans.com. Please file this waiver by August 25, 2014, before the start of classes.
Alternative Financing Options
Stevens offers a wide range of financial aid programs from institutional, federal, state, and private sources; however students and families may find that these programs do not cover all of their educational costs. With this in mind, Stevens participates in a variety of financing options and payment plans, so families who need assistance in addition to the aid already offered, or even those who may not qualify for any traditional aid, still have resources available to them to make these expenses more manageable.
A class schedule will be available on your MyStevens account. Once logged in, click on the Student/Faculty Web Self Services to view your schedule. Your schedule will be available after August 1, 2014.
