Overview
The SIGPAM Newsletter publishes
articles and commentary on a
broad range of topics related
to process reengineering and
management, process simulation,
workflow automation, and enterprise
application integration. The
Newsletter will be published
quarterly.
The newsletter publishes reports
on process-related events, case
studies, survey articles, tutorials,
white papers, industry surveys,
book reviews and letters to
the editor.
- Reports record the substance
of past events such as workshops
and conferences that are of
interest to the SIGPAM community.
- Case
studies describe experiences
with process reengineering
projects and workflow applications
- Survey
articles summarize a research
field for other researchers
- Tutorial
articles summarize an area
of research or technology
for educators, students, and
researchers form other fields
- White
papers survey a new technology
or field of interest to the
community
- Industry
surveys shed light on companies
and trends in the workflow
field
- Letters
to the editor allow SIGPAM
members to express their opinions
about the SIG, as well as
issues that face the field.
The Newsletter
is published only in electronic
form. Readership is restricted
to members of the special interest
group.

How
to Contribute
Articles are invited from SIGPAM
members, academics and industry
professionals. They should be
submitted by e-mail as Microsoft
Word or Acrobat .pdf file attachments
to estohr@stevens-tech.edu.
All contributions should include
the authors’ names and affiliations.
Case studies, surveys, white
papers and tutorials should
also be accompanied by short,
100-word biographies of the
authors.
All submitted works should
represent original contributions
by the authors. Submission of
an article to CAIS implies
the authors’ certification that
the manuscript is not copyrighted
and is not currently under review
by any other journal or conference
proceedings.
Review
Policy
All items submitted to the
Newsletter will be reviewed
for suitability by the Editor
and members of the Editorial
Board. Authors will generally
be informed of the disposition
of their contributions within
3 months of the date of submission.
