Mission and
Purpose
SIGPAM addresses
the need of IS researchers and
practitioners for information
and knowledge sharing in the
areas of process design, automation,
and management in both organizational
and interorganizational contexts.
SIGPAM provides an interactive
forum for the exchange of information,
publishes a quarterly newsletter,
and sponsors an annual workshop.
We work with
other not-for-profit organizations
that have partial focus on process
theories and applications such
as the Workflow
Management Coalition (WfMC),
the Workflow
And Reengineering International
Association (WARIA) and
the CSCW
Conference. Other
sites related to Process Automation
and Management include AIIM,
BPMI, e-workflow.org, and workflow-research.de.
