Academic Affairs Committee

The Academic Affairs Committee is charged with improving the relationship between students, faculty and administration in the academic realm of the Institute.  The committee also provides for student input on any academic changes at Stevens, as well as work with the faculty and administration to ensure the Institute is meeting the demands of the student body in academia.

How You Can Get Involved with Academics
at Stevens

The Academic Affairs Committee will be having regular meetings soon. If you would like to be involved in the committee, email the chair, Mercedes Gomez.

We are always looking for suggestions, new issues to address and really anything you would like to let us know.  Email Mercedes Gomez

Course Assessment Surveys

For the first time in recent history at Stevens, the results of the course assessment surveys will be released to the entire Stevens community!  This is a great step towards asserting a more open community.

The need for all students to fill out the surveys and spend just a little more time properly assessing their courses has never been greater.  Please complete the short surveys once you have completed your courses at: http://www.stevens.edu/assess

External Appointments

If you are interested in being a student representative on either the Institute's faculty committees or the Middle States working groups, please contact Steph Spelman (hgomez@stevens.edu) for more information.
