Nominations
From SGAWiki
Nominations are the precursor to elections, in that they are the process by which candidates for the election are chosen. In most organizations , to be nominated a potential candidate must be "nominated" by one person, and "seconded" by another. In some cases a potential candidate may nominate or second him/herself. After being nominated and seconded, the candidate can either accept or decline the nomination. If the candidate accepts, he or she is then considered to be "running" in the election.
