| | BACKGROUND | |
Came to Stevens from AT&T Labs where he spent about four years on marketing and business analysis using data mining and forecasting techniques. He acted as co-principal investigator on a joint research funded by National Science Foundation and AT&T. He actively participates in the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS), serving as a council member for Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Cluster. He chaired the Publication and Industry Collaboration Committee of Hong Kong Chapter from 1997-1999 for the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE). He is also a member of American Statistical Association (ASA). |
