Alumni Generosity
There Are Many Ways to Contribute
Stevens Engineering and Science alumni have many options for giving back to the alma mater. As working professionals, alumni may recommend their companies to submit projects for Senior Design, directly benefiting current students while also promoting the name and quality of the Stevens degree to regional employers. Alumni in supervisory or hiring positions are invited to work with the Office of Career Development to schedule on-campus recruiting, participate in a career fair, or request a resume book for skilled entry-level scientists and engineers from Stevens.

Kenneth DeBaun '49 is one of many alumni whose philanthropy has enriched the Stevens campus, curriculum, and the student experience.
Ways to Make a Gift
Stevens provides its alumni with many opportunities and ways to support Stevens with a gift. Whether large or small, one-time or ongoing, all gifts contribute to more than the bottom line. Alumni participation in giving directly influences Stevens credit rating and the university's position in national rankings, regardless of the amount given. Some employers and member organizations are generous enough to match alumni gifts, and both the individual's gift and the matching amount may be claimed on the donor's tax return. The Office of Development provides detailed information about gift options and annual fundraising events.
Engineering & Science Educational Funds
The Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering & Science is relying on the generosity of our alumni and friends to sustain the excellence in our programs. We currently have two on going funds that we would like to ask for your support.
- The Graduate Fellowship Fund provides for scholarships to graduate students who are participating in teaching and research in our programs.
- The Engineering Design Laboratory Fund provides resources to enhance the design experience of our undergraduate students.
You can make your personal or corporate contributions to either of these Funds on-line by clicking here.
Of course, if you would like to contribute for another initiative at the Schaefer School please use the same form and let us know of your wishes.
Thank you,
Dean Michael Bruno
