Thermal Engineering Laboratory


The Thermodynamics Laboratory (located in the Edwin A. Stevens Hall Annex) includes a CFR engine set-up equipped with a custom made power controller and a fully computerized data-acquisition system, an air compressor test-rig which includes a two-stage, 10-hp, air compressor with inter-cooling and is instrumented with a computer-assisted data acquisition system, a hot water furnace experimental set-up and an educational version of a vapor compression refrigeration cycle.
