Professor Fisher also serves as director of Stevens&rsquo; Nanomechanics and Nanomaterials Lab, and teaches Modeling and Simulation, Introduction to Nanoscale science and Technology and Techniques of Surface Nanoscale Characterization. The proposed AE sensors are composed of Nanoscale Active Fiber Composites (NAFCs) and Shi&#39;s research involves the design, manufacturing and characterization of the sensors consisting of piezoelectric (PZT) nanofibers.
