Master's Program

Masters Program

Master of Engineering (ME) degrees and Master of Science (MS) degrees are offered in three majors,

  • Electrical Engineering (EE)
  • Computer Engineering (CPE)
  • Information and Data Engineering (IDE) (formerly Networked Information Systems (NIS))

Students in each program are required to complete

  • One (1) mathematical foundation course,
  • Two (2) core courses in their majors/progarms,
  • Three (3) concentration courses in a chosen concentration,
  • A student in an MS program is required to complete a thesis (credits equivalent to two courses),
  • A student in an ME program is required to take two project and skill courses (analytical skill, software skill, hardware skill),
  • Additional elective courses,
  • (Optional) Graduate Co-op Program (Internship).

Typically, three or four semesters are required to complete a degree (a minimum of 10 courses).
