Pharmaceutical Process Engineering
Classes start Fall 2007.
Program Overview: This four course, 12-credit program is designed to provide students with a solid overview and thorough understanding of the chemical engineering principles involved in process development.
Courses are taught by industry experts and current practitioners in collaboration with Stevens faculty, and cover existing and emerging technologies used in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food and beverage, and specialty chemical industries.
Who Should Apply: Professionals in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, specialty chemical, and food and beverage industries.
Course delivery: Courses are held on-campus in Hoboken, and online via Stevens WebCampus.

Fall Semester 2007
- Separation Processes in Pharmaceutical Industry (ChE 615)
- Pharmaceutical Mixing (ChE 661)
Spring Semester 2008
- Design of Control Systems (ChE 661)
- Pharmaceutical Reaction Engineering (ChE 681)
*Credits earned in a Graduate Certificate can be applied toward a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, or Interdisciplinary Studies.
