Dr. Perlman wins grant from American Heart AssociationProfessor Carrie Perlman of the Department of Chemistry, Chemical Biology, and Biomedical Engineering received funding from the American Heart Association for her project entitled, “The Micromechanics of Pulmonary Edema.” The highly competitive AHA Scientist Development Grant carries $198,000 of funding over three years.
