Fall 2008 ASEE Conference at StevensThe Fall 2008 ASEE Mid-Atlantic Section Conference will be held in the Babbio Center on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. The conference takes as its primary theme the role of engineering education in addressing key challenges in preparing graduates for careers in a globally competitive environment. This is an environment that is rapidly shifting expectations and opportunities for careers and for the skills required to be successful. Coupled to these global issues are the significant challenges associated with ensuring a pipeline that provides the quantity and quality of engineers needed to maintain and enhance U.S. competitiveness.
