Dr. Jose Ramirez-Marquez and Dr. Brian Sauser receive the 2010 Jess Davis Memorial Award for Research Excellence in recognition of their outstanding research paper. This award recognizes Professor Jose Ramirez-Marquez and Professor Brian Sauser, School of Systems and Enterprises, for their paper, "System Development Planning via System Maturity Optimization," that appeared in IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Vol. 56, No. 3, August 2009. Their work deals with a system-focused approach for managing system development and making effective and efficient decisions through the use of a novel System Readiness Level index and System Maturity Optimization.
