Due to our very strong Research & Educational reputation in Project Management, three of the Howe School's PM faculty are presenting research at the PMI Conference and moderating sessions.
Dr. Audrey Curtis, Distinguished Professor and Program Director, will moderate –
- Problem-based Learning in Advanced Project Management Education
- Using Web 2.0 in Large Cohort Project Management Education: Panacea or Empty Promise
- Earned Value Management/Value: The Time Dependence of CPI and SPI for Software Projects
- Earned Value Management/Value: Re-Thinking Project Management Maturity: Perspectives Gained from Explorations of Fit and Value
Dr. Thomas Lechler, Associate Professor, will speak in the Human Resource Management topic area: "Project Value Mindset of Project Managers"
Lechler will also moderate -
- Implementing Organizational Change Using Action Research in Two Asian Cultures
Dr. Peerasit Patanakul, Assistant Professor, will speak in the Portfolio Management area about:
"Key drivers to the effectiveness in managing multiple projects: An empirical investigation in an IT organization of a world’s largest financial institution"
Patanakul will also moderate –
- Demographic Determinants of Project Success Behaviors
- Balancing Value-for-Money and Operational Performance of Public Private Partnerships Projects
- Dimensions for Project Success Enabled by the Sponsor / PM Relationship
Prof.Patanakal and his PhD student will also have a poster presented at the conference
