R&E Day 2008

Stevens will hold a special daylong inaugural event in April to highlight its research and entrepreneurship programs and Technogenesis®.

Research and Entrepreneurship Day, scheduled for April 30, will be an annual campus event designed to bring greater exposure to Stevens research programs, capabilities and achievements, and foster relationships with industry to offer insight and solutions to their business needs.

Research Day with will feature keynote speeches, poster sessions, panel discussions and tours of research centers on the Stevens campus.

Stevens research clusters in three areas will be highlighted:

• Systems and enterprise management and architecture
• Security—maritime, cyber, information and communication networks
• Multi-scale engineering, science and technology, with a focus on nano-and micro-scale systems and devices

Invitees will include alumni, industry representatives, federal and statue funding agencies, and the faculty, post-docs, students and academic colleagues from other institutions who are involved in research programs at Stevens.
