As the Fall 2013 semester comes to a close, we would like to present some of our innovative and entrepreneurial highlights for this semester.
We had the second Thomas H. Scholl Lecture, featuring Dr. Paul R. Sanberg from the University of South Florida. This was also the kick-off of our new Stevens Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors.
Another notable event was our combined poster session of all our undergraduate researchers from the I&E Summer Scholars program as well as t he Stevens Scholar’s Program. To give our students an even more thorough understanding of entrepreneurship, we invited Tech Entrepreneur and Stevens Alumnus Ariane Fisher to campus to describe the process of going from the lab to the market.
Finally, we would like to announce the Innovation Expo keynote Speaker, Thomas H. Scholl who will talk to us about his successful career as well as what a VC looks for in a company.
We look forward to another semester.
Wishing you a happy and healthy Holiday Season!
Dr. Christos Christodoulatos
Stevens Vice Provost of Innovation & Entrepreneurship
