Dr. Jose Ramirez-Marquez was one of the faculty members recently celebrated at the Stevens’ S.C. Williams Library for being the 2nd most prolific academic publisher at Stevens Institute of Technology according to records on Scopus, one of the largest abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources.   During the years 2007-2009, Dr. Marquez published 30 papers in journals. Dr. Brian Sauser and Dean Dr. Dinesh Verma were also honored at the SC Williams Library Reception for Faculty Publication, both of them publishing 10 papers in the years 2007-2009.

Dr. Ramirez-Marquez was also honored with inclusion in the list of most cited authors during the years 2006-2008 according to IIE Transactions, specifically for his article Element Substitution Algorithm for General Two-Terminal Network Reliability Analyses, B.A. Gebre, J.E. Ramirez-Marquez, Volume 39, Issue 3.  IIE Transactions is the flagship journal of the Institute for Industrial Engineers.
