| Class of 2011 Major: Biomedical Engineering Extra Curricular Activities: Research Assistant, Stevens Technical Enrichment Program Advice You’d Like to Sshare with the Class of 2013: “College is the step right before entering the real world full of many more responsibilities and concerns. Therefore, try to make the most out of it by getting involved on campus whether it is a sport, club, or job. Also, keep a balance between school and social life and most importantly, a positive attitude that you can achieve anything you set your mind.” My Best Study Tip: “For math classes, I suggest doing a lot of problems to drill the procedure into your mind. For chemistry, read the textbook because before being able to do the problems, you need to understand and know the concepts really well. For physics, review previous quizzes because there is a great chance that the problems given will be very similar to those from the past.” My Time Management Strategy: “Make use of every break in between classes whether it is to review some class notes, catch up on some reading material, or begin a homework assignment because every minute counts!” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Tutoring from Academic Service Center, Stevens Library, Computer Center What I Like Best About Stevens: “I love that Stevens is a small school and has family-like environment. I also like the fact that professors are very open to students and thus students can get one-on-one help.” |
