When I arrived at Stevens, I never knew how much responsibilities you have to take on. The biggest difference for me was living with another person. You really have to communicate with them and compromise. But once you can handle and recognize some of the new responsibilities, it isn’t hard to adjust. Also, make sure you get a solid study schedule down and manage you time well.” My Best Study Tip: “Third Floor library is considered the silent floor. In my opinion, it is the best place on campus to clock in some hours.” My Time Management Strategy: “Usually, I get the majority of my homework and projects done on Sunday. I keep Saturdays free to relax which is very important. During the week, I am super busy between class and activities. If I have big projects or tests coming up, I usually set up a weekly schedule to keep myself on track.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Professors are the most helpful on campus. They are awesome resources to use and can help you out in just about anything from schoolwork to obtaining internships. What Do I Like Best About Stevens: “The location is the best part about Stevens. Hoboken is an awesome town with tons of things to do, and not to mention New York City is right across the river.” |
