| Class of 2011Major: Mechanical EngineeringMinor: Green Engineering Extra Curricular Activities: Cross-Country and Track & Field, Alpha Phi Omega co-ed service fraternity, Stevens Formula Society of Automotive Engineers, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Inflation Team Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013: “Don’t be afraid to ask for help and try new things. There is a lot to get involved with if you aren’t afraid to put yourself out there. There is a place for everyone to be involved on campus.” My Best Study Tip: “Find a place where you can function. Each floor of the library is typically a little quieter than the one below it, use the one that works for you.” My Time Management Strategy: “Try to not save everything until it is due. This can cause you to put other classes off, making you get behind in them as well. Once you are behind, it takes a lot of work to get caught back up.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Classmates, teammates, friends, tutors, and even professors want you to succeed. If you aren’t sure about something, ask. Someone will know how to help you. What Do I Like Best About Stevens: “There’s a great sense of community, both on campus and in Hoboken. Everything is within walking distance, including the train station which gives access to both New York City as well as almost all of New Jersey.” |
