| Class of 2011Major: Engineering Management Extra Curricular Activities: Varsity Swimming, Cycling Club Team, Triathlon Club Team Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013: “Have fun and study hard! These are the best years of your life, so live it up with your friends inside and outside of the classroom.” My Best Study Tip: “Organize your material thoroughly and make sure you do the homework! Studying for final exams is stressful enough, so make it easy on yourself by having a firm base of knowledge from the homeworks and having all your class material organized so you can study with ease.” My Time Management Strategy: “Get your work done during the week. Go to class and learn the material in class because if you do it will give you a lot more free time on the weekends and allow you to take a break from constantly studying. If you play a sport, manage your time around practices and events and don’t let it overwhelm your studies because you’re in college to learn and being an athlete comes as a bonus.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Library, library, library! Make good use of the library and take advantage of the numerous resources it has to offer. At Stevens, the library isn’t just for the nerds; it’s for the students who seriously want to make an effort to excel in their classes. Not only does their selection of books help with many classes, but the quiet areas and group tables make it a great atmosphere for studying and doing homework. What Do I Like Best About Stevens: “I love the tightness of the student body. We are all connected in some way and I love being able to recognize a majority of the students I walk by on a day to day basis. Other than the great atmosphere and superb location across from one of the greatest cities in the world, I love Stevens Athletics! Our school does so much for the sports teams and clubs on campus and I truly appreciate all the experiences they have presented me so far. Go Ducks!” |
