Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013:  “DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!! Every minute is valuable and if wasted you can’t get it back!”

My Best Study Tip:  “For Math, I set up a separate notebook where I take my own notes from the book and I do the example problems or any other problems that have the full solutions so I can check my work.  For science classes, I also take notes in my notebook and I make sure to understand the concepts on my own (it’s not just reading a chapter). And, in general, if something needs memorization, I write it on note cards and carry them around with me.”

My Time Management Strategy:  “In order to get all my course work completed efficiently and on time, I set up a “To Do List” in my agenda and I make sure that I have 2 or 3 of the activities completed. I usually pair up one homework assignment and study the corresponding section together on the same day. By doing one subject a night I get to have my free time on the weekends.”

Resources at Stevens I’ve Used:  My advisor is a major source of advice for me; and they are very helpful in planning out your academic career and will give you advice based on their own experiences.

What Do I Like Best About Stevens:  “I love the small close-knit community where everyone knows one another; also I like that my professors know my name and try getting to know each student on an individual basis. Another thing that I definitely like is the campus setting and the view of the New York skyline.”
