Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013: “Get involved! Make the most out of your Stevens experience by being involved in as many activities as possible. This will provide you with numerous opportunities and contacts that will benefit you in the future and make your time at Stevens even more worth-while.” My Best Study Tip: “In general, always try to go through your homework on your own first. This will allow you to identify what your strengths and weaknesses are. Do your homework early enough to allow time to follow-up with professors, teaching assistants, or other students that may be able to assist you.” My Time Management Strategy: “Organization! I personally love calendars and lists, but whatever works for you, do it! It’s important to stay on top of your game to keep your head above water. Plus, nobody likes feeling stressed because they’ve procrastinated doing homework or forgotten about a meeting!” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Co-op Office, Student Life Office, STEP Office, library, professors, teaching assistants, peers What I Like Best About Stevens: “Stevens is always challenging its students and forcing them to grow academically, professionally, and personally. I love seeing how much I have grown and excelled through my time here. And, the 15 minute train ride to NYC doesn’t hurt.” |
