Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013:  “Stevens has a lot of great opportunities to explore any interest you may have. There are various organizations that you can join at Stevens in order to pursue your interests. In addition, New York City is right across the river and can provide for many unique experiences.”

My Best Study Tip:  “If you are having trouble in a class one of your classmates will be good at it. As an Engineering student, your first three semesters at Stevens are similar to many others unless you move ahead. Someone will know how to do the particular problem.”

My Time Management Strategy:  “Prioritize your schedule. If you plan to be involved on campus be sure to set aside time to do any school work. As the Head Teaching Assistant of three courses and two labs I have sacrificed outside activities in order to stay on top of my school work. The education you receive at Stevens is what you make of it.”

Resources at Stevens I’ve Used:

  • Professors within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department
  • Teaching Assistants in various courses taken
  • Library Resources (both online and at the library)
  • Deans within both the Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Departments

What I Like Best About Stevens:  “I love the small size of Stevens. The undergraduate population is 2000 students. When I entered Stevens in August 2003 there were only 1600 undergraduates. My High School has a population of 2200 students. The smaller student population allows for the administration to aid the students more closely. In addition to the administration, the student community is much more closely knit together.”
