It doesn’t matter if it’s bowling, break dancing, or gaming. Find the area that interests you and get involved. Every student that enters Stevens has the possibility to make a huge impact. “ My Best Study Tip: “Do NOT wait until Finals to start studying. By the time finals arrive it is too late to try to learn a semesters worth of material in a couple days. Make sure to always keep on top of your homework and hand everything in on time.” My Time Management Strategy: “It is possible to do everything you want if you don’t procrastinate and if you prioritize properly. It is important to know what you have to do and what you would like to do. Make sure to always get the things you have to do done first.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Don’t underestimate the power of the library. It is one of the best places to get away and get a lot of work done. It is also a great place to meet up with a study group. Another resource to use is your professors. They all keep office hours and enjoy answering your questions. The things they like to see most, is a student who is active in trying to learn. So, don’t be afraid of them. What Do I Like Best About Stevens: “I love the close knit community of Stevens, where everyone knows each other. It makes the classroom personable. It also allows a student to pursue any interest that they may have. With the support of the administration, faculty, and fellow students it is possible to accomplish anything.” |
