Stevens is a great place and everyone is really friendly and very helpful. Also, try to get involved with things you are interested in, chances are there are going to be people you can relate to and friends to make!” My Best Study Tip: “For most classes like Chemistry, Physics, and even Math, it is very useful to have an idea of what the professor is going to teach before you actually go to his lecture. Therefore, it is not the first time you will see the material and the things you don’t understand are usually more easily fixed.” My Time Management Strategy: “Do a little bit of homework every night and space things out. A lot of classes have homework due that is routine (such as your math classes). Humanities, however, is a little bit more sporadic. So if you make sure you get your routine homework out of the way when you don’t have a lot of homework then it will make the other homework easier to manage.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Library, Computer Service Center, Admissions Counselors, and Tutoring Services. What I Like Best About Stevens: “There is so much to say about this question. There are so many things to love about Stevens. First, I think I would have to say the people. The people are awesome. Also, the location is key. The city and Hoboken give you so many opportunities, it is crazy! And also, Stevens gives you so many opportunities to prepare for life after college.” |
