College is a great place to meet new people and try new things. Take care of your school work first, but remember to enjoy your time at Stevens.” My Best Study Tip: “Find a good spot to do your studying. Try several places to see which works best for you. Some people can study in their rooms; others prefer to study in the library, or even outside.” My Time Management Strategy: “I plan out each week ahead of time. This way I can prioritize my time. For example, if I normally do homework Wednesday afternoon, but AICHE is having a meeting, then I will do the work Tuesday night instead. Don’t restrict your schedule too tightly though. Sometimes you just need a break from a routine to blow off steam.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Tutoring through the Academic Service Center, Coop Office for interviews, Deans of Undergraduate Academics for changing majors and making my study plan, work study employment in the Athletic Department, various professors for career advice What I Like Best About Stevens; “I love how easy it is to get involved. There are many student organizations on campus that host a variety of fun events. I highly recommend joining these groups or participating in their events.” |
