Extra Curricular Activities: *Delta Phi Epsilon – Fundrasing & Community Service Chair, Executive Board Secretary; *Stevens Health Professions Club (SHPC); *EMT – Emergency Medical Technician - worked on ambulances in New York City; *Currently I shadow 2 doctors who specialize in spine, joints, and sports medicine. (Both at the hospital and at the office); *Co-Authoring a paper on Spine (in-progress); *This summer: research with Prof. Valdevit at Stevens doing spine fatigue testing in the lab.

Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013: “Believe in yourself, and never be discouraged. In college you are going to feel defeated at times, but don’t ever let that get in the way of anything. Remember to always keep an open mind about what you want to do career-wise.”

My Best Study Tip:  “Once you realize you have trouble with the subject, get help. Stevens has a FREE Academic Support Center. All you have to do is fill out a form and request for a tutor and someone will be assigned to you to help you with any class/subject that you need.”

My Time Management Strategy:  “After every class or at the end of the day, always ask yourself: “What was the take-home message of lecture today”? Review your notes and stay on top of your work. Once you fall behind, it’s hard to catch up. But, don’t think that you need to study 24/7. Make sure you have some fun too!”
