Often that means putting the former ahead of the latter. Fortunately, there is great opportunity at Stevens for those that seek it. Leadership positions, the chance to get involved, to help others, to move forward, all those are available for those who want them. The trick is not wasting your time.” My Best Study Tip: “Outlines. Every chapter you read, make a basic outline of the key ideas in a structured manner. Then when it comes time to take your test, you’ll have everything you need to know, condensed in an easy to study form.” My Time Management Strategy: “Stay on top of your work at a rate you feel comfortable with. You don’t have to rush into doing everything right away. However, you will find yourself with free time here and there, make the most of it.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Study Abroad Advising w/ Dean Cesmebasi; Resident Student Organization What I Like Best About Stevens: “The freedom to start a program for whatever you wish, and run it in a free and easy manner. Being able to easily start a program or club makes it easy to share your passions with others. Flexibility in what you are able to do, gives you a lot of ability to do what you want. Also, a small class size for chemical biology majors is nice. Helps to stand out when there are not many students." |
