There are so many resources at your fingertips whether it be through Stevens or in the City.” My Best Study Tip: “Go to the library or wherever is your focus area. Put on some music. Really focus on studying. Take little breaks for some “you time” and then get back to studying. MOST IMPORTANTLY, don’t stress or freak out!” My Time Management Strategy: “PRIORITIZE! I really weigh what is most important and try to keep that in mind when planning out what I’m going to do with my time. Getting a planner to keep a log about tests and important events is a great thing I use to keep myself organized.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Tutoring: I am both a tutor and have been tutored; Career Development Office: I have used the Career Development Office to help get me an internship; Office of Undergraduate Academics, my Academic Advisor, and my teachers: I have gone to all of them to talk about grades, ask for advice on classes, and help sort out what I’m going to do with my degree What I Like Best About Stevens: “I like the sense of community that Stevens has. Whether I’m walking through Hoboken or on my way to class, I am guaranteed to see a friendly and helpful face.” |
