| Class of 2011 Major: Biomedical Engineering Extra Curricular Activities: Vice President of Stevens Health Professionals Club (SHPC), Treasurer of Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), PC Lab Assistant, past Summer Counselor for ECOES (Exploring Career Opportunities in Engineering and Science) Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013: “Make the most of your experience at Stevens. The four years of your life that you spend here will go by quite fast. Explore all your options academically, athletically, artistically, and extra-curricularly. There is something here for everyone, and these four years are meant for you. Enrich your life with all the opportunities Stevens provides and you’ll be thankful that you did when you graduate.” My Best Study Tip: “Realize that studying is not memorizing, but learning. Something memorized will be forgotten. Something learned will stay with you always.” My Time Management Strategy: “When you are flooded with work, always remember to factor in eating and sleeping. They are just as important as everything else.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: Print Shop, Silkscreeners Club (for making tee shirts for clubs), Professors for industry contacts, Machine Shop, campus events for social networking (and study break!) What I Like Best About Stevens: “I absolutely love the location. Stevens has a plethora of opportunities within the campus and community, but Hoboken has just as many.” |
