Take advantage of any opportunity they have to offer. Use the free tutors, go see the Broadway shows and sports games, eat breakfast at the free coffeehouse on Sundays in Jacobus, take the fan buses to support the athletic teams, etc.!" Best Study Tip: "The best way to study is by doing practice problems. Make friends with older students and use their old tests to study. Practice makes perfect! Also, don't hesitate to go to your Teaching Assistant's office hours. They're there to help!" My Time Management Strategy: "Keep a calendar, plan things out ahead of time and prioritize. Life can get pretty hectic when you take an active role in the campus community, but school comes first!" Resources at Stevens I've Used: “I’ve tried to use every resource offered to me here at Stevens: the library, teaching assistants, fellow students, and coaches. Being resourceful will make your life a whole lot easier!” What I Like Best About Stevens: "Stevens is right in the middle of everything. Hoboken is a beautiful place, but if you want to get away or do something different, the city, the beach, and the mountains are all within a reasonable distance." |
