| Class of 2013Major: Biomedical Engineering Extra Curricular Activities: Delta Phi Epsilon, Biomedical Engineering Society, Stevens Health Professional Club, Stevens Red Cross Disaster Squad Advice You’d Like to Share with the Class of 2013: “Definitely bring shower flip flops, the showers are disgusting. Do not be afraid to talk to the professors or the TAs, they are there to help you. Definitely look into co-op program if you’re an engineering student, it lets students work in the field before they graduate.” My Best Study Tip: “Chemistry is not my best subject and the course at Stevens is so much different then how I learned it in high school. Trying to relearn the material right before the test is a terrible idea. Keep up with the homework even though it is not graded, go to class, and study old tests from years previous are the best strategies.” My Time Management Strategy: “As crazy as it sounds, the more things I had going on the easier it was to get work done. I guess I just did not procrastinate on my work then. Especially with the online homework that is due at random times during the week like midnight on Fridays. My advice would be to stay on top of homework and avoid procrastinating so you can have time to go out.” Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: I definitely took advantage of the Office of Undergraduate Academics. Email or in person, they have helped me with problems with my schedule. What Do I Like Best About Stevens: “I love Hoboken! It is the best college town, and I love that it is so close to NYC.” |
