The more organizations, clubs and societies you join on campus the better your college experience will be. Not only will these organizations help you meet tons of new people but they all look great on resumes." My Best Study Tip: "Study with groups of people and take advantage of the library. Talk with students who previously took the class and use their past material as a study aide. There is no better way to prepare for a test than taking practice tests and doing practice examples." My Time Management Strategy: "I personally try to get all my work done during the day between my classes so I can spend the nighttime relaxing and having fun with my friends. I try not to overwhelm myself with too much work at one time by taking frequent study breaks, as well as scheduling what I am going to study and when." Resources at Stevens I've Used: Library, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Office of Career Development, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Office of Undergraduate Academics, recourses made available by Stevens Alumni, Stevens study body itself What I Like Best About Stevens: "Stevens provides me so many opportunities for growth and change. There are virtually endless possibilities here at Stevens. There are tons of clubs with various interests in mind and if there isn't a club that interests you, you can start one easily. It's amazing, not only are we getting a top notch education, but we can have a blast while doing it." |
