Advice you’d like to share with the Incoming Class: Study hard but don’t forget to have fun! Also, get as involved as possible in your first year without it interfering with your homework; it’s worth it down the road!
MY BEST STUDY TIP: Go to class and pay attention! This will help tremendously when it comes to studying for an exam, and it definitely pays off when you have a pop quiz.
My Time Management Strategy: I immediately put anything due into my calendar so that I can look and see what is due next and efficiently prioritize my homework and assignments. Organization is key, and it also help not to procrastinate...
Resources at Stevens I've Used: I use the peer tutor program when I need help with a difficult class, the tutors can always give a boost t your understanding on material. I also have used the writing center to put the finishing touch on essays. Professors and TAs are also good resources that I've utilized over the years, there's no better way to get help studying then from the person writing your tests. Of course, peer mentors are always a good resource to draw from!
What Do You Like Best About Stevens? I like the location and the small school atmosphere.
