Advice you’d like to share with the Incoming Class: Don’t join every club your first week, but make sure to explore any extra-circulars you’re interested in by the end of your freshman year, otherwise you may not have free time after that.

MY BEST STUDY TIP: Go to class. Seriously, no other study technique has helped me so much other than just actually attending lecture and doing the homework. As for an actual study tip, doing the homework over a long period of time before it’s due rather than all in one go helps you remember the material.

My Time Management Strategy: Use an electronic calendar (I prefer Google Calendar) and store everything on it. Have separate calendars for different things. Since it’s electronic, you can view the calendar on your phone as well in case you forget something.

Resources at Stevens I’ve Used: For CS majors, the Linux Lab, while outdated, is extremely useful and always available.

What Do You Like Best About Stevens? My favorite part of Stevens is how so many things are completely student run. From the Honor Board to the Student Government Association (and all the clubs therein), students have a lot of space to move around in without too many regulations from faculty and the administration.
