Undergraduate Services

The Academic Support Center (ASC) provides a wide range of academic services to undergraduate students:

REQUEST A TUTOR: Individual & Small Group Tutoring For Specific Academic Challenges

FREE Individual counseling provided by skilled upperclassmen & graduate students. Before completing your request for a tutor, you must carefully read the responsibilities and the requirements regarding the free tutoring services provided by the Academic Support Center.

STUDY JAMS: tutoring help offered on a walk-in bases at a set time & place for a specific subject.

BECOME A TUTOR: Expectations, Notification, Rates, Limits, Assignments
The role of the tutor is to supplement the tutees' classroom experience by helping them understand subject matter that is unclear.

PEER MENTOR PROGRAM: Benefits, Responsibilities, Qualifications
The goal of the Peer Mentor Program is to provide an opportunity for new first-year students to connect with mentors who are knowledgeable about Stevens.

RESOURCES: Study Skills, Time Management Strategies
Tips to help you manage your time, take better notes, study more effectively, improve memory, take tests, and handle the stresses of college life.

FRESHMAN QUIZ SCHEDULE: Quiz Section to Course Associations, Quiz/Exam dates times, as well as room assignments. Prepared by the Office of Undergraduate Academics, the Registrar's Office and the Academic Support Center in consultation with the course coordinators.
