Cori Yarckin set to perform at Castle Point Records’ Dec. 7 concert

The Funky Nunchucks, Wellsville and Last Perfect Thing will open for Yarckin

HOBOKEN , N.J. — Stevens Institute of Technology Multi-Media, LLC, and Castle Point Records will host a concert headlined by one of its artists, Cori Yarckin, who was recently cited in Rolling Stone magazine. The performance will be held at Stevens’ Walker Gymnasium on December 7 at 8:30 p.m.

Yarckin is rock artist from Orlando , Fla. , who brings her own brand of music to the table. She has contributed three songs to Castle Point Records’ Delusions of Grandeur CD, “How the World Goes Around,” “Everything That You Said” and “Nothing Matters Now.” Yarckin recently was named the winner of the 2006 Florida Grammy Showcase, presented by the Florida chapter of The Recording Academy.

Opening for Yarckin are:

● The Funky Nunchucks, featuring Joel Condon, a sophomore Music and Technology major.

● Wellsville, which includes junior Nichol Riccardello (guitar) and freshman Leslie Sanders (violin).

● Last Perfect Thing, a Castle Point Records band.

This all-ages show is free to students with a current Stevens I.D. and $5 for guests.
