Stevens athletics announces schedule for winter season

DuckCast to feature live video webcasts of selected home events

HOBOKEN , N.J. — Stevens Institute of Technology’s DuckCast is pleased to announce its tentative sch edu le for the winter season. Beginning in November, DuckCast will offer live video webcasts of selected home events for their four varsity sports; men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s volleyball and wrestling. DuckCast kicks off its winter sch edu le on Nov. 21 with the women’s basketball home-opener against Fairleigh Dickinson University at 7:00 p.m.

“The response to DuckCast has been amazing,” said Brian Granata, Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information. “We have received positive feedback on a consistent basis throughout the fall from families and fans across the country. We are very excited to offer a full slate of games this winter.”

Stevens will also provide live webcast coverage of games against Drew University (Nov. 30), Mount Saint Mary College (Dec. 9), Manhattanville College (Jan. 13), Farmingdale State University (Jan. 22), United States Merchant Marine Academy (Jan. 27) and SUNY College at Old Westbury (Feb. 3).

DuckCast will carry the men’s basketball home-opener against City College of New York on Nov. 29 as well as games against Mount Saint Mary (Dec. 9), St. Joseph ’s College (Jan. 10), College of Mount Saint Vincent (Jan. 16), Farmingdale State (Jan. 30), Old Westbury (Feb. 3) and the Merchant Marine (Feb. 14).

On Dec. 8, DuckCast opens its wrestling sch edu le with a match between Stevens and Elizabethtown College at 7 p.m. Stevens will also carry live webcasts of matches against the University of Scranton on Jan. 18 and Trinity College on Jan. 24.

Starting in January, DuckCast will begin carrying men’s volleyball matches. The first webcast is slated for Jan. 20 against Mount Saint Vincent at 11 a.m. DuckCast will also cover matches against SUNY New Paltz (Feb. 16), Vassar College (March 9) and Juniata College (March 23).
