Howe School Professor Gary Lynn honored by the International Association for the Management of Technology

HOBOKEN, N.J. — Dr. Gary Lynn, an Associate Professor in The Wesley J. Howe School of Technology Management at Stevens Institute of Technology, was recently selected as one of the most active and prolific scholars in the area of innovation and technology management by the International Association for the Management of Technology – one of the leading associations in technology management.

Lynn was selected out of thousands of professors from around the world.

Last year Lynn was named the Outstanding Research Faculty by The Howe School. He was also named by Business 2.0 as one of the nine leading management gurus in the country. Past picks include Peter Drucker and W. E. Deming.

Lynn is currently a tenured Associate Professor and has authored or co-authored four books on marketing and new product development. His recent book, Blockbusters (co-authored by Dr. Richard Reilly also in The Howe School; HarperBusiness Publishers) was selected as one of the most important publications in management by Manageris Executive Book Summaries of France and one of the key management books published that year by Soundview Executive Book Summaries. Blockbusters summarizes the results of their ten-year study of more than 700 new product teams. It has been translated into Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Russian.
