HOBOKEN, N.J. — The Stevens Transportation Research Group (STRG) at Stevens Institute of Technology will host the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s “NJDOT Research Showcase 2004,” at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, N.J. The Showcase will feature panel discussions to identify future research needs and highlight completed research projects. There will also be a keynote address from NJDOT management and congressional representatives, recognition of outstanding students, and booth and poster displays from the research community.

to join together and showcase its activities,” said Professor Richard
Berkof, who helped organize the 2004 Showcase.

The Luncheon/Keynote Speaker will be Dennis C. Judycki, Associate Administrator for Research, Development, and Technology, Federal Highway Administration.
The Distinguished Speaker on research matters will be Dr. Steven Velinsky, Director, Advanced Highway Maintenance and Construction Technology Research Center, University of California – Davis.
