HOBOKEN, N.J. — Dr. Erich Kunhardt, Dean of the Imperatore School of Sciences and Arts at Stevens Institute of Technology, has announced that Dr. Lisa Dolling will join Stevens this fall as Associate Professor of Philosophy and Coordinator of the Department of Philosophy.
Dolling’s specialties include the philosophy of science. In addition to her work within the Department of Philosophy, she will be assisting Professor James McClellan in developing a program in the history of science for the Department of History.
Dolling comes to Stevens from St. John's University, where she directed the Honors Program and the Science and Religion Project. Her many publications include The Tests of Time: Readings in the Development of Physical Theory, which she edited with Glenn N. Statile and Arthur F. Gianelli. Dolling received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Manhattanville College, her Master of Arts degree from Fordham University, and her doctorate from the City University of New York.
