N.J. — Sharen Glennon, Associate Director of
Marketing at Stevens Institute of Technology’s
Howe School of Technology Management, received the
2004 APEX Award for Publication Excellence, for her
work as Managing Editor on the Fall 2003 edition of
The Howe School Forum. Glennon won in the category
of “Magazines and Journals, Printed Four Color.” The
Forum is a 20-page bi-annual magazine featuring articles
by and about faculty and staff at the Howe School,
with succinct explications of research and education
initiatives.
Sponsored by Communications Concepts of Springfield, Va., APEX Awards are given annually in 109 communications categories, in 11 main categories that include newsletters; magazines and journals; magapapers and newspapers; annual reports; brochures, manuals and reports; video and electronic publications; Web and intranet sites; campaigns, programs and plans; writing; design and illustration; and special publications.

Glennon holds a Master of Science degree in Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Marketing from New Jersey City University. In addition to her marketing duties at the Howe School, Glennon is Executive Coordinator for the Stevens Alliance for Technology Management and a member of the BritishAmerican Business Marketing and Communications Roundtable in New York.
