State-of-the-art applications in e-business and e-commerce will be vigorously explored on June 5, 2001, at the 12th Annual Stevens Alliance for Technology Management Conference. The conference is designed for people developing and implementing e-commerce/business, on both the buying and selling sides of the interface, irrespective of industry. Presentations will be of interest to product developers and managers, marketers, information systems personnel, technology managers, systems managers, technical personnel and business executives.
The conference will take place at the ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company, an Alliance sponsor, just off I-78 at Exit 18 in New Jersey. Press are encouraged to attend. E-commerce/business presents exciting new opportunities for industry and other organizations. Electronic transactions are now an integral feature of high-growth business. E-communications and the need for excellent self-presentation on the Web are required for success in networking. Managers are scurrying to implement solutions that provide a competitive edge or that streamline their operations. Whatever the motive, the biggest hurdle is found in the application of appropriate technology for accomplishing customer-friendly use of the system.
