Manoochehri to co-chair ASME conference in August 2008
Stevens Associate Dean will serve as general conference co-chair
HOBOKEN, N.J. — Dr. Souran P. Manoochehri, Associate Dean for Research & Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology’s Schaefer School of Engineering & Science, will serve as general conference co-chair at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ annual conference. The ASME will host its 2008 ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conference (IDETC) and Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (CIE), from August 3-6, at the New York Marriot at Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.
Serving alongside Manoochehri in the capacity of general conference co-chair will be Jahangir Rastegar of Stony Brook University. Oiaode Jeffrey Ge of Stony Brook University and Horea Ilies of the University of Connecticut will serve as technical program co-chairs.
