HOBOKEN, N.J. — The Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading membership association for the project management profession, awarded The Boeing Company and its project management training partner, Novations Group, Inc., the PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year Award in the organizational category. The award recognizes exceptional skills in the delivery and implementation of a professional development program in project management.
Novations Group, Inc., in partnership with Stevens Institute of Technology’s Project Management program, offers Boeing employees the opportunity to receive training through the Novations University Series in Project Management. Upon completion of the University Series, they receive a joint Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Stevens and Novations, along with an offer to obtain a master’s degree in project management from Stevens. Boeing employees with a bachelor’s degree, who successfully complete the Novations University Series in Project Management and pass the Stevens’ qualifying exam, can waive the first four graduate courses from the Stevens’ twelve-course master’s program. The remaining eight courses can be taken online through Stevens’ WebCampus program. In addition, the Master’s of Science in Management with Project Management Concentration degree from Stevens will prepare them to take the PMI exam and become Project Management Professionals.
Through the Stevens-Novations partnership, Boeing and other corporate clients can now participate in the Novations University Series in Project Management on-line through Stevens’ WebCampus program.
