Fortune 500 leadership to join together in supporting new technology business degree

Stevens Institute of Technology to unveil innovative "E-Business" undergraduate program.

HOBOKEN, NJ – Representatives of three industry giants – AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Bell Atlantic – will gather at Stevens Institute of Technology on March 10, to lend their support to a revolutionary new business program that promises to solve skills shortages within the Information Technology industry.

The new program, a Bachelor of Science in E-Business, will equip students for success by integrating science and technology competencies with core business requirements while pairing students with a sponsoring company for work study programs. The new program will benefit the business community by providing highly skilled graduates, ready to meet the shifting challenges of the IT industry.

Representatives on hand will be Rick Roscitt, CEO of AT&T Solutions, Larry Babbio, president and COO of Bell Atlantic, Carol Spurier, vice president, Lucent Technologies, James Walsh, managing director of  SG Cowen Securities Corporation and Regis McKenna, chairperson of The McKenna Group.
