On the 4th Floor of the Wesley J. Howe Center, the Ondrick Music Room is a rehearsal and practice location for many organizations, including the Stevens Choir, Jazz Band, and Concert Band. The Music Room has two Boston pianos, a Kawai electric piano, a Hammond organ, and a Yamaha Clavinova, all available for students to practice. Open Rehearsal Hours are available each day for students, along with two small practice rooms. Open Hours for Spring 2008 are posted on the weekly schedule "clickable" below:

BOOKING THE MUSIC ROOM:
If you would like to book the Ondrick Music Room for a rehearsal or lesson, please contact Karen Maloney of The Center for the Performing Arts at kmaloney@stevens.edu and note the following rules for booking:
1. All requests must be made 48 business hours in advance of your booking needs. Please review the weekly schedule linked above to see if the date and time you are requesting is available first.
2. When making requests please include the day of the week, date and time. (example: Monday, January 23, 2006 from 2-4pm).
3. In your request, note what lesson or rehearsal you would like to schedule. This way if there is something already booked, we know if we can also book you in one of the additional rehearsal rooms off of the main space. This is especially important when giving lessons or rehearsals with drums, singing groups and/or bands.
4. All bookings are assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
5. Bands are booked in the Music Room through the above contact only after special permission by David Zimmerman.
NOTE: If you are a student in one of the bands/ensembles or taking lessons, swipe card access can be setup for you to access the Music Room outside of Open Rehearsal Hours. For more information, contact David Zimmerman.
